The Architect’s Legacy
Asplund – an architectural gem
Our apartment hotel in Solna was named after the world-renowned architect, Gunnar Asplund. Compared to his designs for Skogskyrkogården cemetery and Stockholm Public Library, our yellow brick building isn’t his most famous work – but it’s emblematic of his style. We are protective of Gunnar Asplund’s legacy and take great care to maintain the building.
Gunnar Asplund is recognised as one of the greatest architects during the interwar years. We are proud to showcase his architecture to future generations and are happy to give our guests a tour.
